Er, okay, really late.
But I finally had a chance to photograph my layout that I completed at Younique, using my February 2013 sketch for the Canadian Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge:
Here's my layout:
Supplies: The Paper Company cardstock; Glitz Designs patterned paper; Little Yellow Bicycle die cut paper; Autumn Leaves file card (Perfect); Maya Road acrylic bird and banner; Crate Paper die cut border; Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey letter stickers; Fancy Pants journaling card; Heidi Swapp chipboard heart; Offray ribbon; Papermate Flair pen.
This layout is a mix of new(ish) products, married with old, old, OLD products that I love out of my stash. The Glitz papers are leftover from my Sealed With a Kiss cards featured in CS last fall. To that, I added that beautiful LYB decorative edge paper that I've been hoarding for a few years (too pretty to purge!)
I also still have those Heidi Swapp chipboard hearts but, come on! Those are classics that NEVER go out of style, IMHO...
So head over to the Sketchy gallery and get inspired to create your own layout! You can use it as is or as a springboard for your project - the choice is yours!
{RAK ALERT!}
If you play along with the sketch this month, upload your layout in the gallery into the February Sketch section here, and then using the linky tool below, add a link to that layout, by 11:59pm on
**NOTE: In order to qualify for a chance to be published in an upcoming issue, your layout must be posted in the online gallery by MARCH 1st. The March 14th deadline is for my RAK ONLY.
**GOOD NEWS**
Because we want to encourage EVERYONE to participate in this challenge and to give everyone an equal opportunity to be published, we are removing the restriction of having to use a Canadian manufacturer!!
Cheers,
P/S: Don't forget about the following challenge on my blog for a chance to win:
Leave Your Legacy: What You Fear Most (deadline: Feb 28/13)
