Sketchy Challenge | April 2014

I have just posted the April 2014 sketch for the Canadian Scrapbooker Sketchy Challenge:

My layout is up on the Canadian Scrapbooker blog today for Tuesdays With The Team here.

Here's my layout:

Supplies used:  Bazzill cardstock; Authentique patterned paper; Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine; cut files (Loni Leah Designs tag, Studio Calico heart border); American Crafts Thickers and twine; Prima wash tape; Evalicious badge button; My Mind's Eye tab sticker; Stockade wooden stars; Craft Smart metallic paint; PaperMate Flair pen; miscellaneous buttons from my stash.

Because the paper is busy, I chose to keep the rest of the layout simple:

Journaling reads:  Once you had your big boy bed, we decided to add more shelving in your closet.  You were so excited to start helping your daddy!  It must be a boy thing - your eyes lit up when he brought out the tools! ~2001
