The Rejects - Part I

Because of all the wonderful work that is submitted to Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, sometimes we, as designers, will send in projects but they don't always have room for them.  I don't mind at all - I'll gladly give up my spot in the magazine so they can publish our readers' designs!!

And so over the next few days I will share some of "the rejects"… :)

Since Father's Day just passed recently, I will first share some of the cards I made - the first three were published on page 28 of the Summer 2014 issue:

Supplies used:  Bazzill Basics card stock; Kaisercraft patterned paper and stickers; Ranger Industries distress ink; American Crafts pen; Fiskars punch; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares; Wilton doily.

That mustachio makes me happy for some reason!  And oh how I love these black doilies from Wilton - they are slightly iridescent!

Supplies used:  Bazzill Basics card stock; Kaisercraft patterned paper and stickers; Ranger Industries distress ink; Spellbinders die, Sizzix Bigkick die cutting machine.

Anther simple one - love the colours in this line of paper from Kaisercraft!

Supplies used:  Bazzill Basics card stock; Kaisercraft patterned paper and stickers; Ranger Industries distress ink; American Crafts pen; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares; unknown ribbon.

And finally, the lonely reject! :)  This is actually my least favourite of the bunch:

Supplies used:  Bazzill Basics card stock; Kaisercraft patterned paper and stickers; Ranger Industries distress ink; American Crafts pen and twine; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares.

Oooh, I love my prime lens - look at that short depth of field!!

Cheers,
