Fall's just around the corner, and it's my favourite season!! Connor's heading back to school, into Grade Two, and Aili will be back to her four day week at Franco-Sol.
I went out to do some back to school shopping for the kids. When I arrived home, I had the kids try their clothes on....
Oh. My. Heck.
Connor has gone from a size 1 directly to a size 3 in shoes!! This particular style, anyways! I, thinking I'd be clever and save myself an extra trip this week, bought him shoes in BOTH size 1 and 2, intending to return the pair that didn't fit. Well, I have to return BOTH pairs!! His toes are RIGHT at the tip of the size 2!!
That boy is going to be 6'5", if he keeps this up. Heck, he may even outgrow his mom (standing tall at 5' 1") by Grade Three!! He's already over four feet all!!!
Sigh. Where does the time go??
Well at least he did the growing all at once and you didn't have to buy new shoes again in a month.
