Two days of daycare....
and Aili's been vomiting since 6pm!! How can she catch such a bad flu bug in 2 days!?! I'm at my wits' end!!!
She's been resting peacefully now for about an hour.
Of course, just as I typed that last sentence, she started to whimper! My poor baby... hopefully, her tummy's settled down now.

You guys certainly have been through the ringer with these health issues lately. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this time it's short lived and Aili will be good as new very soon.

ReplyDeleteIsn't that the way?? Don't start me on my rant of parents not taking responsibility and bringing their sick children to school/daycare/babysitters so everyone else can suffer... Poor thing! I hope she is feeling much better today. HUGS
ReplyDeleteAnd I am with you on the nanny thing. I have been contemplating this for almost a year now. Trouble is, I don't want anyone living in my house. I want a nanny to come at 8am and bring the kids to school and pick them up and go to ballet and taekwondo and then go home at 4pm when I come home or Marc comes home. But this is triple the cost vs. a live in nanny. So far, it is not worth it for me.

ReplyDeleteOh Sue this is just rotten luck for poor Aili. It seems they pick up everything when they are in daycare or preschool. The Dr. told me that although a pain right now, it does help build their immunue systems and the chances of them getting ill and needing many days off in school will be less. However, that doesn't mean they won't get sick especially with the flu. Mona told me about the coke thing and low and behold it worked, if you are ok with giving her come coke, try it!!!
