Gary just called -- the doctor has decided to keep her overnight.
He called earlier and her oxygen levels were at 97% and her lungs were clear, but her breathing was still laboured. They did some swabs, but they suspect that it's Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) again. She was hospitalized overnight for it at six months of age, and then again, last December, for a few days, when she developed bronchiolitis.
She's resting now in the E.R., but will be moved to a room soon. The doctor wants to keep on with the Ventolin treatments and monitor her breathing.
The good news is that she will get fantastic care because she has been charming the pants off of everyone! Even the big tattooed Xray technician was susceptible to her wily ways! :)
Please keep her in your thoughts!
Oh Sue....glad she is in good hands now. That's gotta be really stressful on parents to see their baby sick like that.
