Jumpin' back in...

Today, I opened a new bank account.

In itself, not blogworthy news, really.  Unless of course, it's a bank account for my new business!

That's right - I've decided to jump back into the photography world!

After not being a professional photographer for years, I've come to realize that I miss it.  I miss interacting with the wee ones and families and bellies and yes, even weddings!  Even though weddings are usually quite stressful (imagine that you are in charge of preserving the most important day in a woman's life... has your blood run cold?), I loved the excitement of the couple, the beautiful ceremonies, gorgeous flowers, and yes, even the upstage-y bridesmaids (there's one in every wedding photographer's repetoire,  you know...)

I have to thank Lisa Furtney of ScrapFest, for giving me the opportunity to teach, which sparked my interest again.  And in teaching further workshops, it fuels the passion, as I teach others to love using their cameras.

It's not all worked out yet.  No formal business plan.  No set prices.  Heck, I haven't even decided on a new camera yet!

But it is coming... so if you're relatively local, and would like to have photos taken of your family, your kids, your dog, or even just you, bookmark  http://www.suesykes.com/ and we'll let you know when we're ready for you... Watch for early bird booking specials!!  :)
