WeScrap NSD celebration!!

Welcome to the WeScrap's celebration of National Scrapbooking Day! In celebration of this wonderful event, we would like to share some of our FAVORITE THINGS with you today! So join us on our blog hop where you'll get inspired by some exciting challenges, cool prizes and you'll have LOTS of fun too.

As you hop along, each of our Inspiration Team members will each have a word for you to collect. Collect all 6 words and hop on back to the Favorite Thing Crop Forum for your chance to WIN our GRAND PRIZE!  See the Favorite Things Crop forum for details.

Another way to WIN is by leaving a comment on each challenge posting you see! Leave a comment for the challenge author and we'll give ONE lucky person a prize just for leaving a comment!

Here's our Favorite Things Blog Hop rotation:
Sue Sykes  <-- you are here!

If you are starting this hop here, please go to the WeScrap Kits blog and begin there to ensure you visit everyone's blog!

To participate in our fun challenges, please create a NEW project following each of the challenges according to their creator and then post them in the WeScrap Gallery in your personal gallery and link them to the appropriate challenge thread listed in the Favorite Things Crop forum.

Please note that you must be logged in to post in our gallery and forum, but it's quick, easy and FREE!  Click here to register NOW!

All challenge projects are due by Saturday May 14th at 11:59pm EST.

Now onto MY challenge!

Today I want you to document some of your favourite things right now,  at this point in your life.  It may be something as sentimental as your wedding rings or as trivial as a Vanilla Bean Frappacino from Starbucks.  Or it could be both!  Use this layout to capture a little piece of your personality right now!

Here's my layout:

Supplies used:  WeScrap Fun House kit (Bazzill Basics cardstock; Crate Paper patterned papers and border stickers; Echo Park patterned papers and letter stickers; Tim Holtz ticket) EK Success, Creative Memories and Martha Stewart Crafts punches; Glue Dots.

These are some of my favourite things right now:
a little yellow bird who sits on my kitchen window sill, making me happy;
my Tassimo coffeemaker;
my BlackBerry, for keeping me in touch without being chained to a computer;
Vanilla Bean Frappacinos, from Starbucks;
and Lola - my convertible Mustang!
As an added bonus, I have a coupon, valid for today only, for 25% off everything in the WeScrap shop!

Photobucket

And, if that wasn't enough, I will also offer up a prize for some lucky person who leaves a comment here on my blog!  Just tell me what your plans are for NSD and you'll be entered into a random draw!

Lastly, my special word for you today is.... NEW.  More details on what to do with all of the words you collect will be posted on the final blog on the hop - Ally's.

Good luck with the challenges and Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  Your next stop will be Jen's blog!
