It's a Sketchy Challenge: Sept 2012

Today, I posted the September sketch in the Canadian Scrapbooker's It's a Sketchy Gallery!

Here it is:

And here's my layout, based on the sketch:

Supplies:  Bazzill cardstock, KaiserCraft patterned paper and stickers; Basic Grey alpha stickers, Martha Stewart Crafts and EK Success punches; Tim Holtz Distress ink; Glossy Accents; Glue Dots; Fiskars foam adhesive; Pentel pen; The Twinery twine; unknown watercolour paints.

I fussy cut the trees from a piece of patterned paper - parts of each tree are glossy so it adds a bit of sheen to the page:

The banner is handmade from scalloped circles, punched from various papers and then folded over the twine and held in place with Glue Dots (I use those babies for EVERYTHING!).  I then mounted the banners on foam adhesive for some dimension and strung it across the top of the page:

As a final touch, I coated each of the hearts in the banner with Glossy accents so they would seem epoxy-like:
