It was a perfect match for one of my favourite lines from Fancy Pants Designs, Park Bench! Here's a double page layout (?!? I know, right?? Another double pager!!) that I created at CropFest a few weekends ago:
Supply List: Core’dinations and Bazzill cardstock; Fancy Pants corrugated and patterned paper, stickers, felt flowers, chipboard, buttons and pin; Martha Stewart Crafts border punch; Sizzix BigKick; Cheery Lynn Designs die; Maya Road trinket pin; The Twinery twine; Basic Grey letter stickers; Papermate Flair pen; Prima paper flower.
I found these photos while I was browsing through some old disks from 2005 - back when these two actually got along... LOL!
Journaling reads: You were both so affectionate to each other when you were younger. Nowadays, during the bickering and grumbling, I long for these younger days!
Here's page one:
Haha - I love that photo of Aili!! I had forgotten how expressive she was (and still is!)
Here's the second page:
One of the girls at CropFest commented about how I always seemed to "rock" the clusters on my layouts - and to be truthful, I just keep moving stuff around until it looks right! And sometimes, even then, I don't know when to stop... LOL!
A couple of the flowers in the pack didn't jive with the paper as much as I'd like - I have a problem with needing everything matchy-matchy - so I ripped them apart and included some paper flowers that I had in my stash:
If you play along with this colour challenge, please share a link on the Canadian Scrapbooker blog - I'd love to see what you create!
