Guess who's TWO-rrific!?!

Yep! You guessed it - Li'l Miss Aili!!

Can you believe it's been two years since this photo was taken? Aili was only about three hours old, and Connor, only 4.5 years old. I did this layout last night for a Creative Director Challenge on Scraptivity!, for the birthday celebrations we have been having. I've looked at this photo many times and just hadn't been inspired - I guess I challenged myself with my Inspiration Challenge! :)

Don't my doodles under my flower make it look like it's dancing?!? LOL!

We got up late today (10am!!) and had a nice leisurely breakfast. Aili and I headed downstairs to draw and play, while Gary went out and *tried* to assemble the swing set that we bought for the kids for their birthdays this year. You'll notice that I said *tried*... Nothing went right for him and he ended up only getting the fort/slide part done... after almost SIX hours of labour! Poor guy! He managed to get most of it done though, after we got in from our birthday celebratory dinner, at which Aili got a cake with a sparkler!! She did NOT like that... at all!!

Happy Birthday, baby girl!! Love you lots!! xoxo

  5. 2 already, but what a beautiful little lady she is. And I can sympathize with Gary on the swing set issue. My Garry went through the same thing with our swing set about a million years ago. Now it's just a distant memory that we laugh about every once in a while. :)
