As soon as I saw the challenge, I had an idea of what I was going to do. I sat down on Saturday afternoon to browse through some of my photos and it all came together that night!
Here's my layout:
Supplies used: Scenic Route, My Mind's Eye and Bo Bunny patterned papers, Just Cre8 stamp (A Tree For All Seasons), Making Memories alpha stickers, Prima flower (green), Autumn Leaves tab, handmade crocheted flower (using this tutorial from Attic24), Stampin' Up paper piercer, Lasting Impressions stitching template, American Crafts pen, ribbon unknown.
I had a moment of panic in completing this layout - I knew I wanted a stitched grid, but my sewing machine is buried, due to renovations! So I dug out my trusty sewing template and paper piercer... Yep, all of those stitched lines are FAKE!
There's also a lot of depth on this layout so I took a few close ups.
Okay, so the real reason was that I just realized that I hadn't taken the 18-105mm VR lens off the D300s that Nikon sent me so I wanted to test drive it with my favourite 50mm f/1.8 lens.
OMGawd - will you just LOOK at that depth of field?? Now do you see why I love this lens???
And of course, why I NE-EEED this camera?
I'm going to have to start up a "Buy Sue A New Camera" fund...
But I digress...
So don't delay - head over to CP4U and get inspired! Submit a link to YOUR creation for a chance to be entered into the draw for this month's prize!
OMG i love it! i have to much to catch up on when i get back
