Just Because

I seem to be on a roll with creating!  It's sort of like my blogging - now that I'm on a roll, I don't want to stop and ruin the momentum!

This next project started out as a requirement for one of my design teams but it just didn't come together the way it was supposed to.  Not about to complain though - it's one more layout I have completed!

Supplies used:  Jillibean Soup patterned and kraft papers, We R Memory Keepers patterned paper, Making Memories Slice and Just Chillin' design card, Sakura pen

Simple, yet effective!

The title letters are cut from the same kraft paper as the background and then adhered, using pop dots:

Another one of those ideas that sounds cool, but is a PITA to implement!  I had to cut all of my foam adhesive dots to fit the smaller letters!

The branches, leaves and birds were fussy cut from the WRMK paper and added to the page with a mixture of adhesive and foam adhesive:

I'll be sharing another design that will be created  for the Creative Prompts For You challenge on Thursday.  Thanks for looking!  And don't forget to participate in my Leave Your Legacy challenge for a chance to win a prize!  Deadline for the Jan 14th and Jan 28th challenges will be Feb. 9th, 2011.

  1. 1. Buy smaller dots.
    2. The birds are stinkin' CUTE.
    3. You make me want to gglue something.

  2. Agree with Kate on 1 & 2! I've been glueing tonight so 3 doesn't affect me!Results on WeScrap.
Love the LO Sue. Kraft is one of the things I love to look at but lack confidence using.
