November WeScrap Challenge

Feeling decidedly fall-ish this month, both in weather and mood, I was inspired by this unique fall bouquet and created a colour challenge from it for my challenge on Nov 10th:

I love the mix of purples with orange and persimmon.  The pea green colour adds depth and the dark brown grounds the entire colour palette.

Here's what I created with this inspiration:

Supplies used:  Bazzill Basics cardstock; myStamp BOX stamps (Sigh Gush Gasp, Symbols); Versamark ink; Ranger embossing powder; Fiskars, EK Success and Martha Stewart punches; Marvy Uchida pens; Glue Dots; velvet paper and ribbon from stash.

After creating the challenge, I was excited to get started!  I raided my paper stash and pulled out all of the colours.

And then I panicked.

How could all of these colours  work cohesively and come together into a pleasing combination?

Yet here we are... :)

I created the doily border using this tutorial that I found on one of my boards on (you guessed it!) Pinterest!

Ah, Pinterest, how I love thee!
